Cocktails

Blumkini

2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
2 ounces grapefruit juice
2 ounces club soda

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir until cold.

Samurai Collins

1½ ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
1 ounce lime juice
½ ounce simple syrup
Splash of club soda

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add Shochu, lime juice, and simple syrup and gently shake. Strain over fresh ice in a tall glass or chilled martini glass. Top with club soda.

Angry Dragon

1 ounce MESH & Bone Shochu
4 ounces coconut water

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a chilled glass.

Kyushu Vine

2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
1½ ounces St. Germaine
1 ounce Pamplemousse
1 ounce vermouth
– Dash of bitters

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and gently shake. Strain over fresh ice in a chilled glass.

Map of Hawaii

2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
1 ounce St. Germaine
2 ounces sparkling water
¼ lime (muddled gently)

Bukkake Sake

Gently muddle lime in the bottom of a glass. Add ice and pour the M&B Shochu slowly over. Add St. Germaine and sparkling water and garnish with a lemon peel.

Kumicho

1 medium tomato, muddled
1 tbsp. lemon
1 tsp simple syrup
2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
Fresh cracked black pepper

Muddle tomato. Add lemon, simple syrup, and shochu. Shake with ice for at least 15 seconds. Strain over fresh ice in an old fashioned glass. Add a grind of fresh cracked black pepper.

Tentacle

2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
2 ounces pomegranate juice
½ ounce ginger syrup (recipe below)
½ ounce lemon juice
½ ounce lime juice

For the ginger syrup, juice the knob of a ginger root. Strain through cheesecloth and combine the strained juice with simple syrup.
– Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and shake gently.

Tokyo Seoul

2 ounces MESH & Bone Shochu
2 ounces kimchi juice
2 ounces bloody mary mix (recipe below)
2 ounces tomato mix
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¾ teaspoon freshly grated horseradish

Dash of hot pepper sauce
Salt and pepper
Rim a chilled glass with salt and pepper. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour ingredients back and forth into a second glass 3 to 4 times to mix well. Garnish with kimchi stalks/leaves, cucumber, pickle, and/or lime slices.
