Cocktails

Sotolarita

2 Ounces MESH & Bone Sotol
1 Ounce Cointreau
1 Ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
2 Ounces lime juice

Rim a chilled glass with salt and pepper. Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and shake gently. Garnish with slices of lime and lime peel.

Sotol Mojito

¾ teaspoon agave syrup
4 mint sprigs
1½ ounces MESH & Bone Sotol
1 lime, halved
Splash of club soda

Muddle agave syrup and mint in a glass. Squeeze both halves of the lime into the glass, leaving one hull in the mixture. Add Sotol, stir, and fill with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Señor Juan

2 Ounces of MESH & Bone Sotol
2 Ounces lime juice
Splash of sparkling lemonade

Combine Sotol and lime juice in a mixing glass and stir until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a chilled glass. Top with sparkling limeade. Garnish with a thin slice of lime.

Sotol Negroni

1-ounce MESH & Bone Sotol
1-ounce sweet vermouth
1 ounce Campari

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a chilled glass. Garnish with a thin slice of orange.

Sotol Martinez

1½ ounces MESH and Bone Sotol
1½ ounces pomegranate juice
1-ounce club soda

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and shake gently. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Ginger Piña

4 ounces ginger-infused pineapple juice (recipe below)
1 pineapple, cored and chopped
1 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger
1 tbsp. lime juice
1½ ounces MESH & Bone Sotol

For the juice, puree all ingredients and strain into a pitcher through a fine-mesh strainer. Discard pulp. Refrigerate for an hour before mixing.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and shake gently.

Pamplona

1½ ounces MESH & Bone Sotol
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce grapefruit juice
Splash of pomegranate juice
1 ounce club soda

Combine Sotol and juices in a mixing glass and stir until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a chilled glass. Top with club soda. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Sonora Sunrise

1½ ounces MESH & Bone Sotol
1-ounce sangria
1-ounce fresh lime juice

Rim a glass with salt. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add ingredients and shake gently. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Sotol Loco

1-ounce MESH & Bone Sotol
½ glass of lime sorbet
½ ounce lime juice
½ glass fresh cucumber
3 or 4 thin slices of Serrano chili

Peel and seed 1/4 fresh cucumber. Add to blender with Sotol, lime sorbet, lime juice, and a pinch of kosher salt. Purée until smooth and frothy, about 20 seconds. Pour into a short tumbler and garnish with thin slices of serrano.

La Norma

2 ounces MESH & Bone Sotol
1-ounce lime juice
6 ounces ginger beer

Pour Sotol and lime juice into a glass or copper mug. Add ice cubes and ginger beer.
Garnish with a slice of lime.
